Matt Brown started The Tyre Soldier in Dundee after five years in the British Army. Keri Peters joined as co-director, bringing operations, customer-care and scaling experience from years of hands-on project management.
The Tyre Soldier is a mobile tyre fitting service covering 159 postcode districts across east and central Scotland — Edinburgh up the coast to Aberdeenshire, west to Stirling, and through Perthshire into the Cairngorms.
Two directors run the business: Matt Brown is on the tools and at the wheel of the van; Keri Peters runs operations, scheduling and customer care. When you call 07449 206 581, one of them picks up. No dispatch team to argue with, no national call centre, no script.
The "Soldier" name reflects how the job gets done — methodical, on time, no excuses, and available when needed.
After proudly serving in the British Army, Matt returned to his hometown of Dundee with a strong work ethic, discipline, and a desire to build a new career. He began as a trainee commercial tyre fitter, where he quickly developed a genuine passion for the trade.
Together, Matt and Keri built The Tyre Soldier as a more responsive, mobile, customer-focused tyre fitting service. Matt is on the tools and at the wheel of the van. Keri runs operations, scheduling and customer care.
